Kazashko's church bells ring again: the feast day brought the village together

Father Dorimont from the Cossack community in Romania is coming to Kazashko for the church feast day. The liturgy is on 14 October at 8:00.

Christmas bazaar: Kazashko children raise money for a child from Topoli
Two little girls from Kazashko spent a whole month making Christmas decorations and cards and organised a bazaar. They donated the BGN 210 they raised to a child from the neighbouring village of Topoli.
Christmas and St Nicholas' Day celebration with a screening of the film “Odna dusha”
The documentary “Odna dusha” about Kazashko was shown at the celebration in the community centre, and Kalinushka greeted the audience with a song.
Meeting on the euro and protection against scams
The Kazashko and Topoli mayor's offices and the Ministry of Interior organised a meeting for people of pensionable age ahead of the introduction of the euro.

On 17 August 2025, the village marked 120 years since the first Lipovan Cossacks settled there with an anniversary concert on the square.
An oak and a plane tree for Kazashko's 120th anniversary

On 19 December, St Nicholas' Day by the old calendar, Kazashko held a concert, a Christmas raffle and a fish kurban on the square in front of the community centre.

Installation of CCTV in the village has been completed: at the level crossing, on the road to the jetty, in the park and at the gazebo.
Two years of twinning between Kazashko and Natukhayevskaya
On 21 September 2019 Kazashko was officially twinned with the Cossack stanitsa of Natukhayevskaya near Novorossiysk.
