Meeting in Kazashko on the new Avren – Varna Local Action Group

On 12 June 2026, the community centre (chitalishte) in Kazashko hosted an information meeting on the work of the Avren – Varna Local Action Group (LAG). The village's mayor's office and community centre are both part of it.
The meeting was led by the executive director, Kostadin Petrov. It was attended by the director of the Regional Information Centre – Varna, the mayors of Kazashko, Topoli and Zvezditsa, and representatives of community centres, schools, associations and agriculture.
Local action groups support rural development projects with European funding.
As early as February 2025, the mayor's office announced that, through the Avren – Varna LAG, the villages of Topoli, Kazashko, Zvezditsa and Konstantinovo would for the first time have their own direct access to European projects. Associations, companies and people working in these villages can take part. Information is available from the Regional Information Centre – Varna.
