Sailors' and Fishermen's Day 2026: Kazashko once again brings guests together by the lake
Kazashko's traditional festival brought residents and guests together on the stone square behind the community centre. The mayor's office published a photo gallery of more than 20 pictures.

On 16 August 2026, Kazashko celebrated its traditional festival, Sailors' and Fishermen's Day. The following day the mayor's office published a photo gallery of more than 20 shots. According to the post, this year's festival again had a “unique atmosphere”.
The concert took place on the stone square behind the Mikhail Sholokhov – 1958 community centre (chitalishte). The announced programme featured the Kalinushka folk group, the Elektra ballet, the Arlekin theatre and the Berezka trio.
The festival carries on the fishing tradition of the Old Believer Cossacks who founded the village. Photos can be found in the gallery and in the original post.
