On the eve of 1 October, the International Day of Older Persons and International Music Day, the Mikhail Sholokhov – 1958 community centre (chitalishte) welcomed guests from the pensioners' clubs of Strazhitsa.
The gathering was warm and heartfelt, with songs, dancing and good spirits. Friendly visits like this are part of life at the community centre, which since 1958 has brought Bulgarians and Cossacks together around culture.
