On 19 December, St Nicholas' Day by the old calendar, Kazashko held a concert, a Christmas raffle and a fish kurban on the square in front of the community centre.

On 19 December 2021, St Nicholas' Day (Nikulden) by the old (Julian) calendar, Kazashko held its pre-Christmas celebration. There was a concert with Tedi Genev, Olga Vasilenko and other performers, a Christmas raffle and a fish kurban (a shared ritual meal) on the square in front of the community centre.
The weather was almost spring-like, and beneath the big Christmas tree musical greetings arrived from friends from Siberia to England and from Nesebar to Ukraine.
The Old Believers celebrate by the old calendar. That is why in Kazashko St Nicholas' Day falls on 19 December and Christmas on 7 January.
