115 years since Kazashko's recognition: a festive concert with international guests

The festive concert for the 115th anniversary of Tsar Ferdinand I's 1908 decree brought together Cossack songs, the duo Amore, Balkan Rhythms and guests from abroad.

In August 2023 Kazashko marked 115 years since it was officially recognised as a settlement in 1908 by decree of Tsar Ferdinand I. The festive concert was full of songs and dances.

Alongside the traditional Cossack songs and dances, the stage welcomed the duo “Amore” from Ruse and the dance troupe “Balkan Rhythms”. Among the foreign guests was the flankirovka champion (a display of skill with bladed weapons) Yulia Cherednichenko. The village children gave a recital of poems about Kazashko.

For the anniversary the square was renovated and the cross in memory of the village's founders was given a new look.
